I've been wanting to write a song like this for a while. Many of my characters (and to some extent, myself) have a bad case of wanderlust. The tune is somewhere between the main theme of Cats and another song I don't really remember but I think was either Renaissance or church music (I know that seems broad but it has aspects of both). I don't feel like it (the tune) is terribly original, but I can't read music so I have to come up with tunes I can remember easily.
I reeeally miss my tablet. I have some art supplies here, but no way to upload my creations (I could probably get a camera for that, but I wouldn't know what kind to get. Same with computers. I have no "network" of people here like I did back home, I never realized how much I relied on them.)

I'm interested in hearing it with said tune, I bet it would be beautiful. I'm horrible at pretty much everything artsy, including writing so it may not mean much from me, but I think you're brilliant.
